Character InformationName: Lance Corporal Levi
Age: 30
Fandom: Attack on Titan
Appearance: Shorty is short, like a midget..no I am kidding. But Levi is not any taller than 5'3 clearly proof that big things come in small packages. He appears young looking due to his stature. A rather arrogant expression will grace his face most times and can be seen in his body movements. He has dark hair with piercing eyes, it is short but not close cropped. He will be in his military uniform, which consists of tan pants, white shirt, black boots and a green cloak. He is guaranteed to be in excellent shape with being a soldier underneath that uniform and is by most standards an attractive man. (Though don't expect him to be dating now....)
History: Lance Corporal LeviCanon Point: Directly before the appearance of the Female Titan.
Personality:One clean, badass, sexy Lance Corporal at your service, end personality. Only, not really, Levi is a soldier, a strong one who was strong before he became a soldier. Who has built on that strength in his time in the Corps. He is a cold man, blunt in his speech he is not going to pull any figurative punches. However, it has been shown that Levi does in fact care for the other soldiers, he fights fiercely to protect humanity. He accepts that soldiers die but Levi will not let their deaths stand for nothing, it will all be for a purpose.
A decisive man, he will see what needs to be done and do it, even if it means kicking Eren in the face (Just saying....). He respects his Commander and has faith in his squad, he has faith in Eren. And while he will guide them in battle, Levi wants to show them to stand on their own and make their decisions, he will not hold their hands and do it for them. Because this would teach them nothing and he is mentally an authority figure, guiding them is one thing, holding hands another.
Due to his cold ways he is never seen as friendly, because let's face it, he's not. But he is very much respected and has earned it through his fighting and leadership skills. Also, Levi suffers from a clean complex, meaning if it is dirty you better believe he is going to see it cleaned and cleaned right, which mainly means doing a good portion of it himself. He does not like mess as is shown with his unhappiness at his blade becoming soiled from killing a Titan.
It can be said Levi comes off as a little arrogant, but the narrator here believes that is with good reason. He believes in himself and his skill, he believes in the soldiers who fight with him as well. He cares more for them than his outward mannerisms and personality will ever show. But when you fight for your life on an almost daily basis against Titans, shutting off the emotion, compartmentalizing and focusing becomes necessary. Not that he would be any other way otherwise.
Even in battle with Titans when some of the strongest show fear, Levi does not, he is cold, calculating and deadly. He never hesitates and will take on any Titan or foe that comes his way, never doubting in his ability to survive because dying is simply not an option. Even if he has accepted that in this battle many of them, even himself may some day perish, there is no going quietly into the night for this man.
To sum him up seems simple, but maybe it is not quite so much. Levi is a cold, decisive, loner A soldier to his core, his mission, his fight and humanity's safety takes priority for him. Though, he does like to keep things clean while he does so. Never look for Levi to pat your ass or hold your hand. He will however tell you the things you may not want to hear but that need to be said. And if kicking your ass is what it takes to prove his point, he will not hesitate. Present yourself as an enemy, a threat to humanity or his squad and you can firmly expect that Lance Corporal to come down on your head like a million bricks falling from the sky. He will not be your best friend, he will however be a protector and a soldier because that is who he is. He sees reality for what it is, no rose colored glasses here and he will not let his squad or others around him wear them either.
Life is harsh, Levi is a man who fits the life he lives, harsh, cold, blunt, strong, decisive. His motivation is to preserve humanity and stop the Titans. His motivation in this game will be to preserve the members here with him and stop what is being done to them. Because there is a fight at home that he needs to be involved in, it is simply not acceptable that he is being stopped from his mission. He will keep himself distant, his emotions firmly in hand and focus on the what must be done, not the what this makes me feel. It is simply his way.
Game SpecificSuitability: Hello he's Levi, need I say more? Lance Corporal Badass comes to mind, but not sufficient enough I am sure. To sum it up, Levi is a fighter, he has dedicated himself to the fight against the Titans and any one who threatens humanity. He will not easily accept what they expect of him because they are not Commander Erwin but as far as the premise goes, compared to home it is almost tame and there will be no serious shock value that will not be something he is mentally capable of at least dealing with, if not accepting.
Levi is a soldier, one that is considered to be more valuable than an entire squad and is more than adept at fighting and surviving. As these two things are what his world is about and Levi will do this no matter where he is. Who ever his enemy, he has the skill, knowledge and mentality to take it or them on in this case.
Weapon:Going with the modified 3DGM here, so yes, the five meter range, one set of blades, ten minutes of gas. Because what are spider people without their legs?
SamplesLog/Third Person Sample:Levi was not a man who was unused to violence by any means, he was a soldier. What he was not was a cold blooded killer. Whatever rumors circulated about his past and his involvement with the criminal element, this was one thing that was for certain.
But...this is Santa Destroy, this is where what you are, who you are is put to the test day in and day out.
It was why he stood where they requested him to be, a ranked fight, his first. He had been asked for, a certain curiosity at just who may have wanted this. Would it be an innocent person? Would it be someone who deserved to die?
Would he become a murderer today? All these thoughts went through his head, as he clearly never considered that he might lose this battle. It was his life or theirs and Levi refused to die. He was the highest ranking member of the military here, he would not leave his subordinates to fend for themselves, it was his duty. It was his mission, to save as much of humanity as he could and those brats and Petra were all that were here now. He also refused to die because he was not weak, he would not be felled and stopped in his tracks by someone who had a desire to challenge him.
These thoughts run through his mind as he waits, the modified version of his gear from home would suffice for fighting a human. It would make a Titan trickier, but he could handle it, such was his confidence in himself. His facial expression may surprise (those who don't know him), his eyes remain piercing and cold. His mouth is formed into a line thin, he looked prepared because he was. He may not agree with what they wanted from him but if forced to in order to survive Levi would do what he had to do.
The footsteps are heavy as they approach, they came from behind and all question banished from his mind as Levi knew this must be his opponent. He pivoted on one heel, the practiced movements fluid, a man who knew how to fight for certain.
His hand went to his weapon, there was no reason for small talk and the bullet that came from what Levi could only call a stranger drove that point home. The Lance Corporal moved then without needing to think, he dodged the bullet and the fight began. No one would walk away from this unharmed to be certain as the two men clashed time and again. Blade to gun and yet there is the moment where clearly Levi has the upper hand. Titan flesh was one thing, he had cut it many times.
But his blade as it sunk deep beneath the man's ribs and went upward toward his lung till the organ was pierced was an entirely different thing. He felt the weight of that body as it dropped forward, the blood as it dripped warm down over his fingers (He was making his blade a mess...). Eyes met eyes and Levi watched as the man died, the light faded, the anger he had seen in him faded. He became dull, nothing bright about him now. Levi's face never changed, yet something inside him did just a little, he had killed a human, he had become what they wanted.
No...
He barked the command to himself in his head, withdrew his blade with a scoff "It's a mess..." He said in that cold tone of his as he glanced down at the glinting silver. He would not be what they wanted, no matter how many lives he was forced to take. He made this vow to himself here and now as he turned and walked off with a clipped step.
He was a solider, he was the only commanding officer here. Breaking down was not an option and so, Levi did what a soldier does best, he compartmentalized all his emotions beneath his expression and he headed back to his squad.
