[Personality]
To describe Hibari Kyouya one may use the words, rigid, cold, violent and fearsome. Hibari is a very short spoken young man. He will never say more than is necessary or engage in idle conversation for the pleasure of it. His 'catch phrase' is "I'll bite you to death" referring to the two tonfa he uses, outfitted with retractable metal teeth. Hibari is a young man with a lot of pride in himself and his abilities as well as in his school Namimori Middle.
Hibari can be cocky when in a fight, but with very good reason. This being that Hibari rarely finds someone who can defeat him. All due to a combination of excellent fighting skills and a determination to not lose, that allows him to press his body past it's limits despite the severity of any injuries he's sustained. He is not the kind to become loud when irritated, yet with a cold glare can let you know just how irritated he is. Irritation plays a large part in Hibari's dying will flames. It's how Dino trains him to use it and the boy's flame is impressive, even in its beginning stages. The more irritated he becomes the stronger the flame is. Also he seems to become fiercer when irritated. Hibari comes off as the type who thrives off fighting; it excites him when his opponent is strong. Outside of small animals and Namimori Middle, fighting seems to be the one thing he cares for, always seeking the strongest, most skilled opponents. So he can prove he is the best. He also uses these skills to maintain his own form of 'order' at Namimori middle, even after he graduates. If Hibari feels someone who wishes to fight him is too weak or not at their full strength he will not face them. He only wants to face the best. Although don't think this means he won't attack you if you irritate him, weak or not. Hibari will not concede a defeat in a fight he deems unfair. This is most clearly seen in his continued fighting with Rokudo Mukuro.
Hibari also thanks to Mukuro has a large distaste for illusions and mist users. What would come close to his world’s equivalent of a magician, so to speak. Due to this distaste, he is very attuned to illusions and can see through them more easily to fight as time progresses. One small irony to note, the only other flame Hibari is able to use is the mist flame. In a fight where illusions are used he will attack even more fiercely than normal. Also be warned, even if not engaged in combat with him. Let Hibari believe you are using an illusion and he will attack.
Hibari seems to hold to some Japanese traditions this is mostly seen in his 'hide out' and dress style at home which is revealed in the future arc. He is also the only student to enjoy the school's anthem. He has it set as his ring tone and even trains his pet bird 'Hibird' to chirp the song. This is another example of Hibari's pride in his school. His dislike for everyone excludes very few people. Only those he views as strong or wishes to fight will receive any kind of approval from him. Although, he does seem to harbor a soft spot for small children (some of them at least, such as I-pin who gave him a Valentine) and small animals. Often Hibari can be found napping on the school roof. But be wary as he is a light sleeper and waking him up is ill advised. Even 'Hibird' will only do so under dire circumstances. Despite being a delinquent Hibari is shown to be a very intelligent, cunning young man.
He is the perfect Cloud Guardian as he remains aloof, even as the other Guardians become closer to each other. Yet, he is still there, a part of the unit, yet not. He will protect them, they are the only group which can gather in front of him and Hibari does not react in his normal not having it manner. It cannot be said he is friends with them, as he keeps himself apart, making him hard for the other Guardians to read but he is always there when needed and does his part as a Guardian. He also seems to tolerate Dino and acknowledge him as someone worth fighting, having spent one on one time with him while they traveled and fought as part of Hibari’s training. These would be the only relationships outside of ‘Hibird’ that Hibari can be said to have. He does come to respect and want to fight Tsuna, in the future as he sees the young man as someone strong, however, not so much with younger Tsuna.
To sum things up here, Hibari's personality makes it simple to see why not only students, but teachers and citizens of Namimori , both fear and respect him. It also shows why he is the obvious choice for Cloud Guardian. He remains distant, removed from the core of the family unit. But like the protective cloud blocking the sun's rays he will protect and or defend the Vongola with that natural ferocity of his. Just remember he is really nobody’s friend, in that he will not want to 'hang out'. He is a very solitary creature and prefers it this way. Hibari will never tell you what you want to hear. But he will be bluntly honest with you. Never expect to change his mind once it's made up. Very few people are capable of this. There is one last thing to remember, if you irritate him, form a group in front of him or use illusions he will "Bite you to death."

[Other important stuff] Hibari is a reapp who will be keeping all his memories so you will find two new samples below showing how he will be on his return.
Hibari will be coming in with his bird, his name is Hibird and he chirps the young man’s name or warbles the middle school anthem. He is just a small yellow puff ball but is very important to Hibari and I think it would be good for him to have him, especially since the small creature is usually always with him.
[Sample post]
[First Person]
[He had found no indication to tell him where he was or how he got there, what he did have was this device and while he disliked talking to people, he put it to use.]
Where is this place?
[It is a hard tone, matched by a hard glare, he wanted answers, plain and simple and Hibari saw no reason to mince his words.]
(I know there are few words here but he is honestly not a talkative type character, so below I will answer some questions as well.
Sample Questions:
1: If you could go back home, would you? Why or why not? Yes, because I will keep discipline in Namimori.
2: If someone provoked or attacked you, what would you do? I would bite them to death.
3: If I offered to save your soul for a price, would you go with it and why? No, because I will not owe anyone. I don’t need someone else to save me.
4: What is more important to you: having friends or living on your own? Why? Living alone, I don’t allow crowding, friends involve crowding.
5: You just got a challenge to fight from one of the strongest gang leaders around. Do you accept or reject? Why? Accept, to prove that I am stronger than they are and stop them from disrupting Namimori.
6: You see a bloody knife on the floor. What do you do or think? That someone left a mess and find them to make them clean it up. If they refuse, I’ll bite them to death.
7: Is the best part of waking up having Folger's in your cup? You’re annoying me.
8: Am I asking too many personal or strange questions? Yes, I’m leaving.

[Hibari looks like, well Hibari, he has been here a few days but not one to reach out he has waited till now to even say a word. A yellow bird flutters in the way, Hibird seems to think it is time for his napping boy to show himself. The little guy tweets his name, Hibari cracks an eye open. He sits up with a lazy yawn.
The flicker of red only catches his after the small puff settles on his head. He picks it up and glares down at the dreamberry.]
Disregard this.
[and of course he ends the feed.]
Note: Since he is not always very verbal I have left the original questions I answered to show his voice more.
[Third Person]
(Going with the scarecrow prompt because it just seemed fun, can do an original if you like.)
He had been out finding out what he could about this place by wandering; the field of scarecrows had not alarmed him, even as the small yellow puff on his shoulder gave a tweet. It seemed quiet there, not crowded, except for the scarecrows. He had grown tired of people and their good intentions, he needed no one and refused to owe anyone a thing so this field seemed a reprieve to him.
Hibari is halfway through it when the first rustle alerted his ears, his gaze is sharp, his body tense, tonfa at the ready before even a single movement is seen. Hibird chirped the boy’s name only once as he flew off his shoulder, he knew better than to get in Hibari’s way.
When one straw arm tried to grab him from behind he was already prepared and Hibari pivoted, his tonfa arced in a flash and decimated the creature, yet when his foot landed from his motion he found himself surrounded by five more.
“You’re crowding, I’ll bite you to death.” He was quick, deadly as he made for the nearest scarecrow, as it scratched his cheek the young man’s tonfa flew with deadly accuracy and beheaded the scarecrow.
He is irritated, if it was not bad enough that people had begun to crowd him but not inanimate objects as well, he was sick of this and his annoyance came out full force on the straw attackers. It flew in all directions as the young man moved like a blur; he decimated the lot of them and stood there when it was over.
He did not breathe heavy, his own blood dripped from wounds and he scoffed as he looked down at the nearest pile of straw to him “You got my uniform dirty…”
If he could, he would bite them to death a second time, since he could not Hibari turned and stalked towards ‘home’, Hibird fluttered down and landed on the bloody, straw covered young man’s shoulder, a sight he made for certain as he walked down the street, a cutting glare for any who even dared to glance in his direction.
New Sample:
When his eyes opened the first thing he realized was it was not Namimori, he knew. Hibari knew the feel of his town, what he should see, what his room looked like. He pushed the covers back. He was out of the bed and moving without so much as a glance behind him.
He knew this place the moment he stepped into the street, it seemed in somewhat of a disarray, things had changed since Hibari was last here. But none of that mattered to the young man.
He was caged again and every inch of him yelled his annoyance with the way he moved.
Hibari knew of one place to go and it was to the Onsen that he headed, no word for the startled employees as the glowering young man returned 'home' again. His sharp eyes gave a steel gaze as he strode past them and to the room he had once occupied.
His door was slammed shut and Hibari fought an urge to go seek a fight, no, he would deal with all of this first. Knowing this was no ploy by any one but this place he also knew from experience he could not defeat it.
Not yet and as he lay down on his bed and glared at the ceiling Hibari Kyouya remembered that yet, he would find a way. Then they would have to send him home and send him home for good. The jumble of the two lives, the one here and the one in Namimori were forced from his mind, no time for any emotional responses not for this young man.
[Why do you want to play this character in Somarium?] Hibari Kyouya is a character that I have always found a good deal of joy in writing. I was previously in Somarium with and I have found that for a young man like Hibari it will force him out of his ‘comfort zone’ and has let me see some interesting developments in him that I would like the chance to explore again.
.
[Which rule was your favorite and why?] Limited Fourth Wall Breakage; I find it rather annoying when people break fourth wall continuously since to most characters, they are not fictional and having someone point that they are can have serious consequences that another play may not want to face or deal with in their character.
[Where did you hear about Somarium?] I played here once before :D
[Any questions?] Nope, I am just returning to Somarium like a tidal wave!
